Join Breaking Ground's Junior Board on Wednesday, May 6th at the Prince George Ballroom to celebrate the start of summer and raise vital funds to address food insecurity for vulnerable tenants across Breaking Ground's permanent supportive housing portfolio. Serving Up Home will feature creative bites, summer in a glass, top-notch entertainment, a silent auction with premium items and experiences, and a bit of the unexpected.

More than 300 tastemakers will gather for a buffet-style dinner, open bar, and top-notch entertainment. Featuring a silent auction with exciting items and experiences, all proceeds from the night will benefit Breaking Ground’s efforts to address food insecurity among our vulnerable tenants across New York City.

Junior BoardRaising Awareness and Funds for Breaking Ground

The Junior Board is a group of young and committed leaders who volunteer their time and effort on behalf of vulnerable New Yorkers, as well as making monetary contributions and raising significant funding, in support of Breaking Ground's programs. The committee’s mission is to:

  1. Raise awareness for Breaking Ground’s innovative and industry leading affordable housing solutions through educational programming.
  2. Fundraise to support street outreach, supportive housing programs, and other Breaking Ground programs.
  3. Build a network of like-minded individuals who believe that “everyone deserves a home” and are passionate about creating a more livable city.
