Are you a Young Professional looking to make a difference?

Common Ground is a 501c3 nonprofit recognized as a national leader in addressing homelessness. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families and communities by developing and sustaining exceptional supportive and affordable housing, as well as programs for the homeless and other vulnerable New Yorkers. We serve over 4,000 individuals each year.

Common Ground operates housing in three New York City boroughs as well as in Connecticut and upstate New York. Common Ground’s Young Professionals Committee (YPC) exists to help us broaden awareness of our mission to a younger audience that wants to improve the lives of society’s most vulnerable residents. The YPC also helps us raise funds to fulfill Common Ground’s crucial human services responsibilities.

We are currently recruiting concerned, caring young professionals for YPC membership.
Join us on Tuesday, February 24th from 6:30 p.m.- 9 p.m. for the YPC’s 2015 kick-off!

At 6:30 p.m., a private tour of The Prince George building (14 East 28th Street) will commence. You will have the opportunity to learn a little bit more about Common Ground and get a behind the scenes look at our building.

At 7:30 p.m., meet with our YPC members to get a better understanding of the committee and learn about our goals for the year. We will have a reserved section at Pranna Restaurant (79 Madison Avenue), which is right around the corner from The Prince George building. Common Ground will provide some tasty bites for your enjoyment; happy hour drinks will be available for purchase.

Please kindly RSVP to Michelle LeNoach at ypc@commonground.org or 212.389.9395 by Monday, February 23rd.
