What’s In A Share

Each week you will receive about 6 varieties of all-organic vegetables. Information about how to add other products (fruit, eggs, and/or chicken) to your order will be added to this site later this month. 

Share contents vary from week-to-week depending on what is in season.

An individual share is designed to provide enough veggies to feed one person or a couple for a week.

A family share is designed to provide enough veggies for families. Here are some examples of what was in an individual share from the current Summer 2011 Season (note: for a family share, please double the quantities):

Week 1

  • 1 Lettuce
  • 1 pound swiss chard
  • 5 radishes
  • 8 garlic scapes
  • 3 spring garlics
  • 4 onions
  • 3 beets

Week 2

  • 5 garlic scapes
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 10 fava beans
  • 1 lettuce
  • 2 oz mint
  • .65 lbs cucumbers
  • .9 lbs summer squash
  • 1 lb greens (collard greens or swiss chard)

Week 3

  • 1.25 lbs greens (swiss chard or white kale)
  • .75 lbs fava beans
  • 13 garlic scapes
  • 2 garlics
  • 1 big or 2 small kohlrabi
  • 1 big or 2 small lettuce
  • .5 lbs cucumbers
  • .5 lbs squash

Week 4

  • 7 garlic scapes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • .25 lbs red kale
  • .25 lbs dandelion greens
  • 2 bok choi
  • 1.1 lbs fava beans
  • 1 lettuce
  • 2.3 lbs squash

and if you purchased a fruit share…

  • 2.2 lbs sweet cherries
